Earlier this summer I spent a day at Kennywood park in West Mifflin, Pa. just outside of Pittsburgh. If you like older style amusement parks with great old and new ride, unique rides that only a few are still in existence, good food, very reasonable prices, and some nice views of the Monongahela River, y0u should take a trip out to the park. It is one of my favorites and I know WGCL98 likes it too.
They used to have 3 arcades that I recall years back. One on top of the Fudge Shop, one on the main entrance Midway, and one by the bumper cars area. Currently there is only one arcade still operating and that is the one of the main strip just past Garfield's haunted boat ride.
Ticket redemption games were decently represented here. They have some new games, skeeball, and others. My main interest was of course, the classic games area. Here are the games listed below:
TMNT 4 Player
Moon Patrol
Space Invaders
Popeye
XMen
Asteroids
Defender
Dig Dug
Donkey Kong
Guerrilla
After Burner
Pole Position
Lethal Enforcers
Contra in a Bionic Mutant cabinet
Virtua Fighter
Simpsons 4 Player
Jurassic Park
Operation Wolf 1 Player
Tekken 3
Rampage
Frogger
Carnevil
Zaxxon
Clutch Hitter
Pac Man
Ms. Pac Man
and two other machines that were too blurry in my pictures to decipher.
Used to have a Sea Devil in there but its gone. A decent collection in pretty good shape.
