What's your favourite genre of games? Like for example, Role Playing games, Racing, Sports, Flight Sims, Puzzles, First Person Shooters, Third Person shooters, etc etc?

My favourites, most of all is First Person Shooters, Specially WAR and Battle games, that with the single player missions make you feel you are actually there. Also Third Person Shooters if DONE well like GOW1 and GOW2 are really GOOD TPS.

I can play racing games when i get in that special mood. But sometimes i get bored with them quicker. I am not a good driver hehe!! Dont get me wrong they are still fun and have thier moments.

Also if the game has BOTS in it where you can play like mutlip[layer with bots, much like GOW2 or UNREAL TOURNEY III, then that makes the game definately have MORE REPLAY value!

If that question was asked 20 years ago I'd say RPG's. Having an NES and SNES, about 70-75% of my games were Role Playing. Now I'd have to say FPS, especially BC2. Cool

RPGs flat out.
NOT the new-fangled ones though.
A fps that you can "level up" in is NOT an rpg.
Classic turn-based battles with awesomely destructive cut-scenes/spells and difficult (wild arms, breath of fire3) puzzles that force you to use your brain instead of how fast you can pull a trigger.(continues ranting on the subject)....(5 hours later).....
Yep definitely RPGs. Smile

Turn based. Yes. Old SNES days. Breath of Fire, Seventh Saga. My lifestyle is different now than back then so I just don't have the time to invest in these big RPG's. I tried them but I just can't do that anymore. Well, at least right now.

Oh man. I miss the late 70's/early 80's arcades and home consoles. Miss the loudness.
