It is one of my favorite baseball games for the NES. There are some good ones... You have a group of about 50 people or so to pick from, and you take turns with the computer picking your team. Each player has different ability's. Some fast, some slow etc... Then you pick a fast pitch or slow pitch game. hen you pick where you want to play. Each field has unique rules. If you hit a home run in schoolyard for instance, it can still be an out if it breaks a window in the school. the more you play, and discover who the better players are, the more fun it is. There is a little coal miner looking kid who uses a Pick-Axe as a bat. No sure what kind of stuff they were smoking when they programmed this, but it had to be good. Must have been some of them Atari programmers from the early days!! Smile

Yep. If you have seen the Atari Documentary that is available on DVD, they talk about how they used to get high all the time at work.

Can you imagine what it would be like working at Atari back then. Nolan didnt care what time you got there You could come in and work at night, and sleep during the day. The only thing he cared about was that your project was finished on time. Between the DVD and the book on Atari, you really learn a lot abot the man and his company.

I admire the open ended work day, and myself would love to have something like that. I find that I am most mentally into working and being productive at night. I would enjoy working at night when not that many people are around. However, this would not always work in mainstream companies. Most work has to be done during the day due to needing other people to work on projects, ordering supplies and equipment would have to be done during the day when the regular businesses are open. It just works smoother that way. But with Atari's different product at the time, and the different mindset of the employees, made it a rare situation when the system actually worked. Those people took chances in starting a new industry and had a stake in and had passion for its success.

Some games I am playing are Amidar and Thief.

I guess I would always say that I am playing the classics.

Anyone selling a Thief machine?

Last Night I played the Wii for the 1st time. It was Very fun. Even more fun that I had anticipated. Played all the Wii sports and did pretty well. My Favorites were Bowling & Boxing. After a few games and then some Home Run Derby on the Baseball my Shoulder was getting tight. Defenately good exercise. Played a bit of the Rayman Rabit game also and it was very entertaining as well. I need a Wii. Mike : )

Dude Bowling is awesome. Of the three current systems, the Wii is the way to go. And it is HALF the price of the others.

I haven't been playing much lately. I've had a hankering to play Guitar Hero just to see what all the hub-bub is about. I heard it's a pretty good game. *Plays air guitar*

I have tried it. It was fun. Kind of like Dance Dance Revolution for the Rocker/Air Guitar crowd. I don't know how replayable it is, but it was fun.
